  • Who/what is COGS?
    • COGS is the registered graduate student government which represents the interests of students in research-based Doctoral and Master's programs across the University of Minnesota.

  • What can I do to get involved?
    • Ready to take the next step and join COGS? COGS holds annual elections for the Executive Committee in April of each year. To learn more about the organization, you may view this year's ratified bylaws and constitution.

  • How do I bring attention to an issue that is important to me?
    • You can contact the current speaker at cogsspkr@umn.edu to discuss getting your issue put on a meeting agenda or evaluating the best way to address it. Please send your proposal at least two weeks ahead of a General Assembly meeting.

    • You may also submit your questions or concerns using the "Graduate Student Helpline".
